I remember the very first time I watched Christopher Nolan's "INTERSTELLAR", and I was absolutely blown away. Every since I watch that film on a random night with my family, I have always wanted to tell cinematic stories. 

My name is Canyon DiMare, and I am a filmmaker. When I am behind the camera on whatever project I am currently working on, I feel completely in my element. There is just something about having others watch your work and see their reactions to it; it is what draws me to filmmaking. 

It is my absolute dream to be able to direct films for a worldwide audience at some point. I want to make films that sit with people for months after they have watched it. After seeing my very first feature-film play in a full-house theater, I knew this is what I was supposed to me doing. 

As John Locke would say, "This is my destiny".
